Who We Are
Action In Reading (A. I.R) was established in 2019. It is a non-profit organization initiated and created by a group of parents who love reading and are enthusiastic about charity. We are committed to promoting self-growth through reading and learning, and advocate to practice what we have learned.
By improving parental power, guide children to fully develop their personal potential, enhance their sense of inner value, and achieve their independent life.
Through learning and practice, we can enhance our family happiness and intimacy, and make ourselves better.
Reading and learning is a lifelong ability that allows us to broaden our horizons, understand the past, and explore the future.
Push others with self, serve the community with love and action. Love and dedication are the value of life, allowing us to see the world, see all beings, and see ourselves.
How We Do
Member activities are carried out in winter and summer every year. In order to enrich everyone’s spare time, enhance friendship among members, increase understanding of society, and practice what we have learned in reading, various parent-child outings, family activities, interest workshops, volunteer activities, visits to public welfare organizations and other series of activities will be held. Interesting guests and lecturers will also be invited to lead everyone to enjoy life together.
Why A. I.R?
-With the aid of the A. I.R platform, parents can better adapt to the Toronto life circle, understand the local culture, and promote multi-faceted exchanges between parent-child, school, and education.
-There is mud under your feet and light in your heart. Adhere to kindness and gratitude, while self-learning and growing, give back and help the community.
-“We cannot change the Arctic Circle, but we can change our circle of friends”. Attract interesting friends with the same frequency, broaden your horizons and experience, and enrich your life.
